How do you define service design? Service design is the activity of choreographing people, infrastructure, communication, and material components of a service in order to create value for the multiple stakeholders involved. In the very early times, we were focused on designing interfaces, touchpoints, and artifacts that were usable, useful, and desirable for users. Today we see that value should be distributed equally among all stakeholders. Considering the entire system is one way to bridge the gap between concept and implementation, which would make service design more attractive to different industries.609 ↱
