Another design contribution is centered on the designer’s ability to help imagine and visualize alternative futures and make ideas and concepts tangible and easily testable through prototyping before they get fully implemented. In addition, the service designer’s ability to look at users’ requirements in a holistic way can be very useful in terms of imagining ways for unifying experiences and service provisions across different departments and organizations and therefore reducing waste of resources and duplication of efforts.1618 ↱
